Trout Season Drawing to a Close

Attention PDFAA Members.

We wanted to give a quick reminder that the Trout season ends at midnight on 30th September. This applies to both brown trout and sea trout.

The salmon season continues on some of our waters though with fishing for salmon ending on the following dates:

Tavy - Midnight on 14th October

Erme - Midnight on 31st October

Plym, Cad & Meavy - Midnight on 15th December

It has been a difficult season with hot weather and low water. Also worrying reports of smolt being caught in August, although we have had a bit of rain no so hopefully those fish can run to sea and perhaps we can all get some fish before things wind down. Fingers crossed for a better season in 2023.
